Exmouth Beach

Exmouth Beach is a two-mile stretch of golden sand located along the South West Coast between the River Exe Estuary and Orcombe Point.

Golden sand: Exmouth Beach is well-known for its two miles of golden sand, which is rare on this coast. The beach is also a Blue Flag Award beach, which means it has acceptable water quality and some of the best facilities in the country.

Rock pools: The beach is also famous for its fascinating rock pools, which make it a paradise for children and adults alike.

Water sports: Sandy Bay just next to Exmouth is a half-mile long privately owned beach which is sheltered and ideal for families. The beach is good for swimming and water sports.

Parking: There are beachfront carparks with plenty of parking available. However, on weekends and holidays, it can get very busy.

Exmouth is a local beach, about 16 miles from Exeter Lodge.
