Becky Falls

Becky Falls is an ancient woodland park located in Dartmoor, Devon, centered on a waterfall of around 20 meters down a boulder-strewn bed. The park covers 50 acres of stunning woodland and has been attracting visitors since 1903.

Here are some key features of Becky Falls:

  • Waterfall: The waterfall itself is 70ft high and over 35ft wide in parts where the Becka Brook runs between the huge granite boulders and onward down the Bovey valley.

  • Woodland Park: In addition to the waterfall, there is a woodland park with features such as a children's zoo, woodland trail, and crafts.

  • Animal Shows: There are free animal shows for visitors to enjoy.

  • Cafeteria and Picnic Area: There is a cafeteria and picnic area where visitors can relax and enjoy refreshments.

Becky Falls has been voted Devon's Top Beauty Spot and was also chosen as one of the World Wildlife Fund's Amazing Family Days Out. It is a family-friendly park that offers a great day out for visitors of all ages. Dogs on leads are also welcome.

The trails are on a site of special scientific interest and therefore the woodland is completely natural with tree roots and boulders etc. as such the walks are not wheelchair or pushchair friendly!
