The last castle built in England, Castle Drogo is a 20th century castle overlooking the Teign valley.

You can walk from the castle along the river Teign all the way to Fingle Bridge where there is a lovely traditional pub and restaurant. Or you can drive to Fingle and take a shorter walk along the river.
