How to get to the Turf Locks

The Turf Locks can be accessed on foot, bike, horse or boat, from either Exminster or Powderham. If entering from the Exminster side drive past the Swans Nest pub, over the bridge and follow the lane to a little car park. From there you walk for about half and hour to get to the pub. From Powderham you can park in Powderham church car park or there is a little parking at the beginning of the cycle path. Follow the path, over the bridge and along the track. If cycling there is a lower, flat path to follow. If walking there is a raised path along the river wall.
